There is an exciting weekend ahead for WWE fans, as Clash of Champions takes place on Sunday evening. Fans are looking forward to seeing some of the exciting match-ups that are set, with nine titles matches on the card. But, which champions will leave the Amway Center with their championship reign in tact?

When: Sunday 27th September

Where: Amway Center, Orlando

How To Watch: WWE Network

WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns vs Jey Uso

How many belts will change hands at Clash of Champions (Dec 17)? Get odds for all the big matches, including AJ Styles vs Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship.

It will be a battle between two of the biggest Samoan stars in the WWE this weekend, as Roman Reigns will defend his Universal Titles against Jey Uso. Fans have been buzzing since the return of Reigns, as the WWE have finally decided to turn the biggest star in the company into a heel. Reigns is now aligned with Paul Heyman, and it’s fair to say that there has never been more interest in his character than right now. There is no doubt that Reigns will successfully defend his title, as there are bigger rivalries on the horizon for the Big Dog. But, it will be interesting to see how Reigns is booked, and whether he wins easily or whether it will be a much bigger test.

Pick: Roman Reigns at -2500 with BetOnline.ag.

  • Clash of Champions will feature a Kickoff Show beginning at 6 PM ET. The main card is set to begin at 7 PM ET. WWE betting sites released their betting odds for this Clash of Champions network spectacle. Let’s walk that aisle, step inside the squared circle to examine these odds.
  • With WWE Clash of Champions just a few hours away, the current betting odds haven’t seen any flips of projected winners, nor do they suggest that there have been leaks of finishes. None of these odds have flipped in the other direction and new odds have been added for previously unrated matches.

WWE Championship: Drew McIntyre vs Randy Orton

One of the closest matches on the card according to the odds in the WWE Championship match. Both stars have enjoyed excellent years to this point. McIntyre has been the main star in the WWE since he defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, while Orton has been engaged in a huge rivalry with Edge throughout much of the year. This is a re-match between the stars from SummerSlam, which saw the Scot successfully defend his title. There can be a point made for either of these superstars to walk away with the title. However, the pick is for McIntyre to successfully defend. There is a strong feeling that the Scot will be defending his championship at the next pay-per-view in a triple threat against Orton and Keith Lee.

Pick: Drew McIntyre at -120 with BetOnline.ag.

WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship: Bayley vs Nikki Cross

The SmackDown Women’s Championship will be on the line when Bayley takes on Nikki Cross at Clash of Champions. Bayley is the heavy favourite to defend the titles as there are certainly bigger things on the horizon for the current champion. She is gearing up for one of the biggest rivalries of the year against Sasha Banks, with the match likely to come at the next PPV. This match will end in a screwy finish, with Alexa Bliss likely to get involved and cost Cross her big opportunity.

Pick: Bayley at -400 with BetOnline.ag.

This year’s Clash is headlined by Roman Reigns defending his WWE Championship against his cousin Jey Uso. This is definitely one of the more unique main events we’ve seen in WWE in quite some time. We see the usual names in these main events so often that it’s really unique to see Jey Uso here. This could be a great match if they want to as it’s likely that Roman would like making his cousin look great, but it’s hard to say with the way that Roman’s character has been since returning. The odds on this match are absolutely huge with Roman as a -3335 favorite at 888 Sport.

There are a lot of props available at 888 on that one including: over/under 12 minutes bell to bell and over/under 1.5 spears by Roman.

Another lopsided match-up will be the Smackdown Tag Team Champions, Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro, taking on the Lucha House Party. The champions are -278 here which is almost a value. The Lucha House Party did the classic WWE trope of winning a non-title match to get a title shot. This will only be the 12th match that Lucha House Party has wrestled this year which tells you all you need to know about what WWE thinks of them.

Bayley is -400 in her title match against Nikki Cross (+250) and that is another absolute lock. The Bayley storyline is clearly leading to a big Hell in a Cell match next month against Sasha Banks and she needs to be kept as strong as possible heading into that one. Sasha/Bayley is a match that WWE has been building towards for what feels like years and screwing it up now would be absolutely insane.

  • Jeff Hardy (+125) vs Sami Zayn (+167) vs AJ Styles (+180)
  • Street Profits (-150) vs Andrade/Garza (+108)
  • Asuka (-1430) vs Zelina Vega (+600)
  • Cesaro & Nakamura (-278) vs Lucha House Party (+190)
  • Bayley (-455) vs Nikki Cross (+280)
  • Bobby Lashley (-1000) vs Apollo Crews (+500)

  • Shayna Baszler / Nia Jax (-278) vs The Riott Squad (+190)

There will also be a three-way for the Intercontinental title between Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles, and Sami Zayn. This should be a great match and has the potential to be the best thing on this show. The odds opened real close here with Sami Zayn as an underdog at +250 with the other two being +125. I would not be surprised to see Zayn take this one and I might put a couple of bucks on that one.

The Street Profits vs. Andrade/Garza, again!? Seriously, how many times can they run this match?

Drew McIntyre will clash with Randy Orton for the WWE Universal Championship once again. The odds here are very close and it would be not be shocking to see Drew’s title reign come to an end here.
